Once research associated with the Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) has developed into intellectual property it can be used to form new companies.

ROSEI partners with Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV), the school’s hub for translation efforts, to support the launch and growth of startup companies. Resources available to ROSEI innovators include entrepreneurship training and mentorship, business planning and commercialization strategy, licensing, pro bono legal and accounting services, and connections to capital including translational funding and venture funding. Subsidized lab and office space is also available via the FastForward innovation hubs.
