The Net-Zero Economy Summit, hosted by the independent research institution Resources for the Future, will explore the transformative decision making needed to deliver on two goals: net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and the advancement of our economic well-being.
Set to take place on Thursday, October 20 at the The REACH at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC, leading voices in government, business, academia, and the media will explore the solutions needed to achieve net-zero emissions across all major sectors of the economy—from electricity and transportation, to industry and land use. The conference will also examine the crucial decisions needed to confront climate risks, build resilience, and prioritize solutions that are just and equitable.
The summit also has a ROSEI presence, as leadership council member Ben Hobbs will be a panelist during a mid-afternoon session about electric power.
