January 17, 2024
12:00 pm / 6:30 pm
The Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) is hosting its second in-person summit on January 17 from 12 – 6:30 PM. Like 2023’s iteration, the event will take place on the Homewood campus in Hodson Hall, with free lunch for attendees and speakers being served. All are invited! (Note, JHU Faculty are also invited to a pre-summit workshop from 8:30 AM -12 PM on the 17th.)
The ROSEI Summit provides a technical sharing of all sustainable energy and related research being conducted at Johns Hopkins and all are encouraged to attend. ROSEI’s aim is for any JHU-affiliated individual who is not a tenured or tenure-track faculty to have the opportunity to share their research with the Hopkins energy community. This includes:
- Graduate students
- Postdoctoral candidates
- Research scholars, scientists, and engineers
The Summit will provide an overview of ROSEI activities and technical sessions organized around the active topics of our scholars. The Summit provides a unique means to understand the breadth and depth of JHU research in sustainable energy as well as develop collaborations and new networks for future research. The technical sessions will consist of 15 minute talks, no papers are required, and a slide template will be provided in early January.
Click the button below to register to attend. Please not that the period to register as a speaker has closed, but you are still able to register as an attendee. Questions about the summit can be sent to [email protected].
