Bentley B. Allan is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and an affiliate of the Environment, Energy, Sustainability, and Health Institute at Johns Hopkins University. He received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Ohio State University in 2012. He has research interests in the history and theory of international order, global environmental politics, the role of science and expertise in global politics, and qualitative methods. His book, Scientific Cosmology and International Orders (Cambridge University Press, 2018), is the winner of the American Political Science Association’s Don K. Price Award for the best book in Science, Technology, and Environmental Politics. He has published articles in International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Review of International Political Economy, and European Journal of International Relations.
