The Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI) recently hosted a meeting, as well as a lunch at R House, with a group of postdoctoral candidates and research scientists interested in working with ROSEI. The meeting, which had people attending both in person and virtually, was an open discussion about how best to foster future collaborations between the institute and the researchers. Specifically, the group focused on what ROSEI can do to help postdoctoral candidate and research scientists, as well as best practices to coordinate translation efforts in sustainable energy research.

“This whole event was really fruitful. It was great to hear from everyone and begin to see some unique collaboration possibilities too,” Ben Schafer, ROSEI’s director, said. “Keep an eye on our calendar because ROSEI is planning to do more of these sorts of events in the near future, especially once the schoolyear starts.”
