Dennice Gayme

Dennice Gayme, associate professor and Carol Croft Linde Faculty Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, was elected as a  Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS). Gayme also serves as a core researcher for the Ralph O’Connor Sustainable Energy Institute (ROSEI).

Gayme’s fellowship is in the Division of Fluid Dynamics “for the development of reduced order models of wall-bounded turbulent flows and their use in elucidating dominant flow dynamics and processes.”

The Gayme Lab studies studies interconnected and spatially distributed systems using computational and theoretical methods from applied mathematics, dynamics, controls, optimization, and fluid mechanics.
